Buyers Guide
Mougee has consistently been the most innovative flow star around. With that comes lots of sizes and varieties. This buyers guide is a quick overview of the current available models.
What are the different sized Mougee Stars and which is best?
Mougee has more sizes than any other flow star company. Our most popular sizes are the Classic and the Air (same size, slightly different weight). If you want something a little smaller and quicker, the Midway is a good choice. Even smaller? Go with the Mini. Any of these four sizes, The Classic, The Air, The Midway, and The Mini are a good choice for beginners. If you are on the smaller size, consider a Mini or Midway. If we had to recommend one, we think the midway is a great size for beginners. Not too big and not too small. If you are real beginner, consider the Mougee Power Ring.
What about the Beast, The Little Beast or the Micro?
These are specialized sizes that we don't recommend for beginners. But if you know your way around a flow star and want to push your limits, you may want to challenge yourself with the extreme sizes. Micro with the power Ring has been particularly popular. Use a soft touch and you can spin anywhere.
What is a Power Ring?
A Mougee Power Ring is a, soft, flexible ring sewn into the center of Mougee flow stars (fabric spinning toys) to act as a stable, centered anchor point for finger spins. This patent-pending, soft rope component that helps beginners maintain momentum and and keep the star balanced. Where it might take an hour or more to get the hang of spinning a a regular flow star, with the power ring, you will be spinning like a pro in the first couple of tries.Â
What is an INTRA?
INTRA means the webbing is on the inside, not the outside.
Normally, Flow Stars have flat webbing stitched onto one face. That webbing gives the star its weight, structure, and control, but it also runs right across the artwork—so one side looks clean and the other looks… interrupted.
With INTRA, Mougee keeps that same essential webbing, but sandwiches it between the two printed halves of the star. Same weight distribution, same support, no webbing lines chopping up the artwork and designs.
What about the Pizza Mougee?
The round shaped Pizza Mougee is a whole different animal. If you are a beginner and want to go the pizza route, we highly recommend the Pizza with the Power Ring. A great way to be spinning your pizza in no time. This has been so popular that we sun if off (pun intended) as it's own product. Geared more towards kids, but has it's roots in the flow star and is just as much fun for teens, adults, and even seniors (why not?).
